So now with the whole Michael Phelps admitting to smoking marijuana thing, it just reassures what I already knew. Phelps is overrated. Usain Bolt was the real hero of the 2008 Olympics. That dude set world records in all his races and only scored 3 golds cause he only had three races. Give Bolt 8 races and he could have taken 8 golds and set 8 world records. Shoot if Bolt competed in 12, he could take 12 golds.
Is it any coincidence that the dude who held the record for the most gold medals before Phelps was a swimmer? Nope. It’s because swimmers have a grip of events to compete in.
What about pole vaulters or basketball players? They can only take home one medal even if they were the greatest athletes in the world.
So I know others would disagree, but Phelps wasn’t the greatest athlete of the 2008 Olympics, just the luckiest (shoot one of those medals was earned for him by his teammate.) Plus, if Bolt and Phelps ever fought I don’t even have to say who’d win, we all know.
Usain Bolt owned the Olympics, and Nastia Liukin I say would take best American athlete ha ha.
Fact: Usain Bolt beat out Phelps for IAAF Athlete of the Year in 2008.

Why they are cool: I first found out about Locksley in July when I saw them open for Rooney and I thought they were the most amazing thing ever. They are super catchy and have an old school sound. They are working on a new record and I am super anxious.
